Thousands of people are imprisoned away from their home country, suffering the acute stress of incarceration plus the trauma of separation from crucial support of loved ones.
The Luna-Rose Prisoner Support Society is a registered Canadian non-profit society that believes in the inherent dignity of all people, and opposes humiliating or degrading treatment of anyone. Since 2006, we provide compassionate humanitarian support to foreign-national inmates in Thailand’s prisons. We visit foreign prisoners in Bang Kwang Central Prison, Thailand, bringing care packages and providing psycho-social support to inmates from Burma, Canada, Australia, Russia, Laos, Kazakhstan, Nepal, and more. In supporting and bearing witness, we hope to help maintain dignity and hope to those incarcerated away from home country and family.
